When using Aproplan on your web browser, sometimes performance issues may occur. Performance issues may include; the Aproplan browser page freezing or not responding, or experiencing slow input of clicks or scrolling. This guide provides a comprehensive overview of the steps you can take that may resolve these issues.

Check your network connection

Ensure you have a stable internet connection. A weak internet connection can affect performance of the Aproplan application.

  • If you're using Wi-Fi, try switching to a wired Ethernet connection to avoid interference or signal issues. Wired connections are generally more stable and faster.

  • If possible, try to use a different network (e.g., mobile hotspot) to see if the issue persists.

Type of Browser

For optimal performance of the Aproplan web application, we recommend using the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome

  • Mozilla Firefox

  • Brave Browser

Refresh Browser Page

Refreshing a page ensures that the browser loads the most current version of the content. If a page is not displaying correctly or is slow, it could be due to outdated or incomplete data cached by the browser.

Basic Refresh:

  • Press F5 or Ctrl + R (on Windows).

  • Press Cmd + R (on Mac).

Hard Refresh:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + R or Ctrl + F5 (on Windows).

  • Press Cmd + Shift + R. (on Mac).

Clear the Browser Cache

Web browsers store cached files to load websites faster, but over time, these files can become outdated or corrupt, causing Aproplan to run slowly or behave unexpectedly.

It is important to clear the cache of your browser from time to time to avoid it taking up too much space on the hard disk of your computer. A full hard disk can cause performance issues on your computer.

Check the Storage Space

For both Mac and PC, it's generally recommended to keep at least 10–20% of your total storage free to ensure smooth performance on Aproplan.

Mac (macOS)

  • Minimum: 10% (but ideally more)

  • Recommended: 15–20%

macOS uses free space for swap files, virtual memory, and temporary files. If your Mac runs out of space, it can slow down significantly, and you may even experience system crashes.

PC (Windows)

  • Minimum: 10% (or at least 10–15 GB free)

  • Recommended: 15–20%

Windows uses free disk space for page files, system updates, and temporary files. If storage is too full, Windows updates may fail, and performance may degrade due to insufficient virtual memory.

Concurrent Login

By contract, it is prohibited to have multiple users signed into the same Aproplan account simultaneously. This practice can cause performance issues due to the system trying to handle multiple sessions under one account, leading to slower load times, data inconsistencies, or errors.

Additionally, multiple users accessing the same account at once can lead to conflicts in data handling, causing delays or incomplete updates to your projects and reports.

  • Ensure that each user has their own individual login for Aproplan.

  • If multiple people need to access the same project or task, each person should sign in with their own credentials.
