This FAQ article provides step-by-step guidance on importing a list of points from Excel or CSV files.
Important: CSV or Excel files exported following the steps in the FAQ “How to Export Points to Excel or CSV File - Web version” cannot currently be re-imported into the application. Using the same exported file may lead to data conflicts.
File types:
.csv files are a simple text format that stores only raw data. They are lightweight but offer less flexibility in terms of formatting or structure.
.xlsx files support formatting, formulas and multiple worksheets, giving you greater flexibility to organise and prepare your list of points before importing it.
