How to Export Points from Aproplan to Excel or CSV File - Web version

This F.A.Q article explains in four simple steps how to export points from Aproplan to Excel or CSV files.

Important: CSV or Excel files that were exported following the steps from this F.A.Q article currently cannot be used to import the same exported file back into Aproplan, as doing so may cause data conflicts.

File types:

  • .csv files are a plain text format that stores only raw data, making it lightweight but less editable in terms of formatting or structure.

  • .xlsx files allow formatting, formulas, and multiple sheets, giving you more flexibility to organize and prepare your point list before importing.

Exporting Points from Aproplan to Excel or CSV File

1. In your project, click on the points section in the left-side panel. Click on the green button in the top middle of the points page to open the Points Page V2:

2. Select the points you wish to export by clicking on the checkboxes: on the left side of the points in the overview:

3. Use the right mouse button to click on the selected points to open the export options:

4. After clicking on the desired file type for export, the download will start immediately. The downloaded file can be found in your download folder on your computer, or you can open it directly from the download icon in your browser bar:
