This article explains two different methods for adding a point to a plan.
Adding a point in the mobile app allows you to quickly report issues, track progress, and communicate directly with your team on-site.
Points also make it easy to pinpoint the exact location on the plan, ensuring clarity for everyone involved. They help centralise all relevant information, such as comments, photos, and responsibilities, enabling better follow-up and collaboration throughout the project.
Adding a Point Marker on a Plan via an Existing Point
1. Start by opening the points section by tapping on the points icon in the navigation panel on the left side (A). Select the list of points (B), or stay on Entire project-level to view all points. Next, tap on the point to open the point details (C). Then tap on the plan that is attached to the point (D):
2. Now that the plan has been opened in the document viewer, tap on the toolbar icon in the top-right corner to make it visible:
3. Tap on the point marker icon in the toolbar that appears on the left side:
4. To place the point marker, tap on the location in the plan where you wish to place it. If it was placed incorrectly, you can tap on the "Delete" option above the point marker to remove it. Afterwards, do not forget to click on "Save" in the top-right corner:
Adding a New Point on a Plan via the Documents Section
1. Open the documents section by tapping on the points icon in the navigation panel on the left side (A).
If you have added your plan to a specific list, this plan can be easily found in the documents section on list-level. Select the list from the drop-down menu in the top left corner or stay on Entire Project-level (B). Afterwards, tap on the plan in the folder and click on the preview to open it (C).
2. The plan is now open in the document viewer interface. To place a point marker, tap on the location of your choice on the plan. Then, to create a point, tap either on “Add point” or on “Add picture” (this will open your camera first, then the point details):
3. Fill in the point details and tap on "Save" to create the point:
4. The point marker is now visible on your plan. Tap on the point marker and afterwards on the points subject to view the created point details. You can also create another point on the same location by tapping “Add point” or “Add picture”, or you can add a form:
Note: If you want to add another point in the same area (but not the same exact location) as the previously created point, you can zoom in on the plan to place the point marker more accurately.
