What is a list?

Lists are communication groups that allow you to manage and centralise communication, documents, tasks and inspection forms.

A list is a feature that helps you group:

  • Points

  • Forms

  • Documents

  • Participants (& access rights)

Public Lists

All points and forms in public lists are visible to all participants of the project with the same access rights as in the entire project.

You can't manage participants or access rights at the list level. If you want to change them, you have to change them for the entire project.

By default, the system creates one public list for the whole project (the list in blue).

Private Lists

All points/forms/documents in private lists are visible to all participants of the list according to the access rights of the list.

By default, the system creates one private list for each user (the list in blue). In that list, there is only one participant (you) and you can't modify it. It means that you can use this list as a draft because you are the only one to see them. When draft points/forms are good, you can move them into other lists.

A user with an Enterprise license has access to its default private list and he can create other private lists (lists in green). In that list, he can manage participants and access rights. These personalised lists can be divided into 3 subcategories: blank lists, Quality Control Plan and Security Control Plan list.

A blank list allows you to select different options regarding the points included, the generated report and the transferred files between the participants.

Quality and Security Control Plan lists are offering a step by step guide to create a communication group dedicated to QHSE Form control creation within the application.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY :

Users with a free license don't see lists:

  • They will see all points and forms in the entire project (as it is the case for expert or enterprise licenses) but they won't be able to navigate in a list or to filter on lists.

  • When you add them in your private list, they will be able to see points and forms of that list from the entire project.

  • When they create a point, it will be put in the public list by default.
