You can directly have access to our Document viewer guides:
Otherwise, here is a step-by-step guide below on how to use our document viewer!
To view a document, you simply click or tap on it.
Upon opening a document, you will be brought to the document viewer. However, depending on where you open it from, the document viewer loads in one of two modes: View mode or Edit mode. Here’s how they work:
View mode
The View mode enables you to consume the document’s content and interact with the information on top of it (ex. All points or forms over a plan). The View mode is triggered when you open a document from within the documents module. In this mode, you have the necessary functionalities to navigate around the document, search, filter work items (points & forms), see different versions of the document (if available), download it and more. Here’s a breakdown of the interface and the functionalities included:
View mode overview (Web)
Title bar - Document name and previous/next arrows to navigate from previous and to next documents.
Version selector - See what version you’re working on and choose other versions if available.
Page selector - To easily navigate across the pages of documents with multiple pages.
Navigation tools - Navigate around a document with ease. From left to right:
Activate/deactivate pan mode
Zoom out
Zoom in
Fit-to-page.
Rotation tools - Rotate the document in 90-degree intervals.
Search - Search across the text content of a document (Note: does not work with photos). You can also trigger the search with the corresponding search keyboard shortcut set-up for your keyboard setting and language (ex. Cmd + F on a Mac in English)
Document version comparison - Compare two versions of a document and highlight the differences between them [instructions on a further FAQ].
Basic functions - From left to right:
Print document (includes content over document)
Download document (includes content over document)

Important note: iOS and Android interfaces can have slight differences between them.
In View mode you do not have functionalities to annotate over a document. To do so, you need to use the Edit mode.
Edit mode
The edit mode provides increased focus on the document you are viewing, enabling you to add information over it. Given that the Edit mode is about focus, it only shows the details of one specific work item at a time. Therefore, the Edit mode is triggered when you open a document from within the details of a work item (ie. a point, a form). In this mode, you have the necessary functionalities to annotate over a document, download it and more. Here’s a breakdown of the interface and the functionalities included:
