Document Viewer & Edit Mode Overview - Web
When you open a document in Aproplan, it is displayed in the Document Viewer, where you can view the document and interact with all information shown on top of it, such as points and forms. The same viewer is used regardless of where the document is opened from, though available actions may vary depending on your permissions and the context.
Open a point and click on the thumbnail to view the document:
In the Document Viewer, you can navigate through the document, search, filter points and forms, switch between document versions (if available), download the document, and when permitted, add annotations or other information directly on the document.
The screenshot below is an overview of the editing options that are provided:
Title bar - Document name and previous/next arrows to navigate from previous and to next documents.
Page selector - To easily navigate across the pages of documents with multiple pages.
Navigation tools - Navigate around a document with ease. From left to right:
Activate/deactivate pan mode
Zoom out
Zoom in
Fit-to-page.
Rotation tools - Rotate the document in 90-degree intervals.
Annotation tools - Different annotations to provide extra context to your documents. From left to right:
Location Pin
Dropdown: Free drawing and eraser
Text tool
Dropdown: Line, arrow, rectangle, ellipse and poly line.
Select multiple annotations - Drag a marquee over items to select them
Print zone - Define the zone you wish to print
Version selector - See what version you’re working on and choose other versions if available.
Basic functions - From left to right:
Save annotations
Print document (includes content over document)
Download document (includes content over document)
Close document viewer
How to Edit an Annotation - Web
To see and edit the parameters of a specific annotation, click on the desired annotation type and interact with the secondary toolbar that shows up under the primary toolbar if you wish to modify the annotation parameters:
Annotation parameters - Customise your annotations as needed. Bear in mind that the parameters of annotations might vary depending on the type of annotation (ex. Line annotations have different parameters to text annotations). The screenshot above shows the parameters for a square annotation. From left to right:
Colour selector
Line weight selector
Line type selector
Delete annotation - Remove the annotation(s) currently selected. You can also delete selected annotations using the backspace or delete buttons of your keyboard.

When a point is opened, tap on the thumbnail of a document to view the document in large format:

Upon viewing a document, the document viewer will be opened. Depending on where you open the document from, the viewer will load in one of two modes: Document Viewer and Edit mode. Find out below how the Document Viewer works:
Close button - Close the document you are viewing.
Title bar - Document name.
Share document - Choose to share the document as image or PDF file format.
Edit button - Opens the document edit mode.
Page selector - To easily navigate across the pages of documents with multiple pages.
Note: In the Document Viewer you do not have functionalities to annotate over a document. To do so, you need to use the Edit mode.

Annotation tools - Different annotations to provide extra context to your documents. From left to right:
Pin
Dropdown on long press: Line, arrow and free drawing
Dropdown on long press: Rectangle and ellipse.

Undo & redo
Annotations toolbar anchor: Allows you to drag and drop the annotation toolbar to your preferred position: Top, left or right.

How to Edit an Annotation - Mobile (Android)
To see and edit the parameters of a specific annotation on mobile, tap on the desired annotation and tap on the colour circle:
Annotation parameters - Customise your annotations as needed. Bear in mind that the parameters of annotations might vary depending on the type of annotation (ex. Line annotations have different parameters to text annotations).
