This article explains step by step how the new form templates page works. It lets you create, manage and organize your forms more easily via a centralized interface. Here’s how to access it and use the main features of the new page.
Please note: this feature is only available with a paid license.
Accessing the new interface
- Log in to Aproplan using a web browser.
- On the homepage, click the Company tab on the left-hand side and go to the Forms tab.
- Click "Try the new templates page" on the green banner at the top of the screen.
Overview of the new page
The new interface displays a list of all templates created within the company. Each template contains the following columns:
- Name: the name of the template
- Type: the category selected during creation (e.g. Safety, Quality…)
- Kind: indicates whether the template is in Draft or Published status
- Questions: number of questions in the template
- Author: the person who created the template
- Modified: date of the last modification
- State: Active or Archived
You can switch back to the old version if needed by clicking the “Return to the old templates page” button in the top right corner.
Note: in the old page, all templates were considered as published.
Searching and filtering templates
The new interface allows you to quickly find a template using:
- The search bar (filtering by name or author)
- Column filters (Type, number of questions, state, etc.)
- A grouped view if you drag a column (such as “Kind” or “Type”) into the grey area above the table
Creating a new template
You can create a template by clicking the “Add new template” button.
A complete FAQ is available to guide you through creating your templates, you can check it via this link (to be added).
Managing existing templates
When you hover over a template row, three dots appear on the right-hand side. By clicking on them, you can:
- Edit templates that are in draft by opening them

- Delete a draft
- Create a draft from a published template
Additional information
- It is possible to publish a form even if it contains no questions or question titles.
- If a template contains more than 100–120 questions, errors may occur when loading or publishing.
- Form preview is an upcoming feature.
- It is not yet possible to directly duplicate a template; you need to create a draft from an existing template.
- Draft templates are not visible in projects.
You can find more information on how the new form templates page works in the following FAQ: How to use the Form Template Builder - Web version.
